Ryan quit YouTube the right way. No huge controversy. No overdramatic drawn out goodbye. Just slowed down his content to ease his fans into it. Truly a legend of YouTube!

Unlike most YouTubers who make a whole hour long goodbye video when leaving YouTube, Ryan decided to leave YouTube slowly, making less & less videos overtime till he no longer wanted to continue making content. Easing his fans into accepting his departure of the platform instead of a sudden goodbye video. Its sad that heā€™s left but Iā€™m proud of him.

He got out when he could with no drama or controversy. He recognised the signs that staying too long wasn't going to be healthy for him or those around him and chose to stop. I wish him well wherever he is now.

He was depressed and no one was taking him seriously. The dude laughed like it was funny. All I hope is that he is doing well and is happy. He deserves peace and happiness. I am glad he did what was right for him, and we hope he knows he is missed.

This guy is one of the first youtubers I watched regularly, and has had such a massive influence on the type of content I want to make and consume it's unreal. He was my favorite youtuber from 7-8th grade, and I remember watching his videos regularly and constantly anticipating a new upload. It's insane how much I adored this guy. I wish him luck in his new ventures and that he'll come back to Youtube whenever he feels comfortable

He may have retired from YouTube but his content is so masterfully crafted with time and dedication put into it that his videos have become timeless. I could honestly watch them over and over again.

Ryan is still one of the greatest people that ever showed up on YouTube. It's a shame that he left.

I loved him so much. He made the early 2010's so memorable for me and my brother. I often go back and see old videos that brought me so much laughter. I'm so sure he's doing very well after he quit.

Ryan, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart ā¤ļø you filled a lot of us with joy especially in your earlier days when Iā€™d watch you everyday after middle school. Youā€™re a great person; always do what makes you happy.

Alot of people from this generation wont understand the legendary status of the guy during his youtube days , an absolute legend , as it feels really sad seeing him just fade away from the limelight , but it feels really good seeing that he is taking good care of himself and feels happy , if thats what makes him happy , then so be it , or hopefully he makes a legendary return back

Ryan was and forever will have a special place in my life. He pretty much shaped my entire teenage life. Everytime life would get overwhelming I'd immediately just go to his channel and rewatch his older videos. He was the only influencer/youtuber/celebrity I adored so much that I went as far as actually getting his merch just so that I could support him. It's been 6 years and not once have I taken off his iconic "teehee" wristband. As heartbroken as I was when I heard he quit YouTube, I'm so glad that he prioritized his mental health and wellbeing and took this break. He will forever be one of my most favourite youtubers and even if I'm in my 60s I'll always be looking forward for his content

Ryan was such a huge gem for this platform. While it is truly a shame that he moved on from it, it makes me really happy that he is taking good care of himself rather than sacrificing his mental health for the content.

I had been watching his videos since his early days and his videos were such a big part of my pre-teen and early teen years. My friends and I made our own silly videos and had many inside jokes that were inspired by his work. I had known he was burnt out but I didnā€™t realize the extent till watching this video. I just wish I could shake his hand or give him a hug and thank him for playing such a major part in my life. Honestly, rather than feel sad Iā€™m glad heā€™s searching for his next thing in life. Heā€™s already left us with so much, heā€™s overdue for some self love. Random fact here : I actually went to highschool with Edenkai so I was really excited to see him talking with Ryan on his podcast!
