I just realized the Gumballs inside bensons head kinda shape a beard for his face and now I canā€™t unsee it.

Being a kid is thinking Benson's a 'big meanie' Being an adult is realising that Benson's actually a cool guy and most of his anger outbursts are justified

Benson wasnt written to be an asshole, he was written to be responsible and mature. Thats the beauty of his character.

The scene where rigby asks why Benson hated them and his face going from pure rage to genuine concern was really heartfelt. It was always nice when Benson got along with the duo and hung out. He never hated them, he just wanted the best for them. This show was so good

Benson is actually a GREAT boss. He only looses his cool when the guys are slacking off which is honestly perfectly called for. A bad boss is what Mr. Krabs or Mr. Burns would be. Benson is honestly what a good boss should be like.

Benson is the anti Mr. Krabs. Always trying to teach responsibility and putting employees first.

I love it when a pretty serialized show has character arcs. You fall in love with the show because of the individual episodes and you appreciate because of the characters

As children, we love Mordecai and Rigby. As adults, we understand and appreciate Benson.

I always loved his character. He's not a bad guy, he just has issues that he doesn't know how to deal with

Bensonā€™s actually a reasonable, chill manager. He treated everyone with respect, and wasnā€™t too strict. Mordecai and Rigby simply piss him off, cause they slack off on any duties they are given by him. He was nice enough to give Mordecai and Rigby NUMEROUS chances, rather than immediately firing them on the spot for any shenanigans they have doneā€¦ Like try doing that in the real world with a real manager šŸ˜….

The fact that despite Mordecai and Rigbyā€™s actions, Benson did not fire them for what are some really awful things, to me, makes benson a amazing boss

My whole family is comprised of Regular Show fans! Benson is my mom's favorite character, because she likes his "They're blithering idiots, but they're MY blithering idiots." mentality.

You have to understand, Benson is the way he is because of his childhood, his strained relationship with his father, probably causing him a great deal of emotional instability and trauma. That really causes some deep seated feelings.

Benson is a very well written character and heā€™s one of my favorites. Heā€™s relatable to a lot of adults out there, especially adults who deal with lazy slackers. He can definitely be cold at heart at times throughout the series, but most of the time, he means well. As kids we donā€™t like Benson because we canā€™t relate to him, but as adults, we realize that we have a lot of similarities to Benson and thatā€™s why we find ourselves liking him more as we get oldsr

I like how Benson mellowed out in later seasons. It showed how he could grow and adjust as a leader, and how he grew more accustomed to the absurdity of the world around him.

Benson may have anger issues but for the most part his emotions are justified, heā€™s really not that bad and always tries his best.

This is one of the reasons I always appreciated Benson. Heā€™s strict and he cares about his image but he genuinely cares about his employees and his friends and knows when heā€™s in the wrong sometimes. Heā€™s a good guy but just has some short temper
