I played this song with my broken guitar for my girlfriend five years ago. I still remember how she would laugh when i sing the part "...and am gonna say what i need to say and hope to God that it don't scare you away....." We've been married for 4 years now with 2 boys and this is still our favourite song together. If she is angry, all i need to do is take my guitar and sing it for her and we'll be fine.
