It's always a good sign if your music is good enough to listen to yourself, I do that all the time. I always see myself as my primary audience, trying to cater the music to my tastes. Then at least if nobody else likes it, at least I do.
And I can totally relate with how 2020 was supposed to be "my year". I was all lined up to actually start playing shows, but covid hit before I could do a single one. More time to prep and get ready to go for 2021 I guess! Gotta roll with the punches and take life as it is instead of lamenting what could have been.
