The Therizinosaurus is using a unique ability called echolocation. The same sounds he makes echoes right back to him. Since he's likely blind, he uses echolocation to help him survey his surroundings.
What's scarier is the Theri knows Claire is there, just pretending to not see her. And we don't know for sure if the Theri will attack or not. Maybe its just him toying with her or intimidating her.

I hope the new dinosaurs from domínion appear in this animated series 🦕🦖
We will also have new species that never appeared in the films, such as Suchomimus and Pachyrinosaurus, and for the first time Allosaurus will appear in an animated series in the franchise.
