He interrupts her and it pisses me off. Interviews with her are so rare; let her talk. Such an incredible intellect. Her works are true masterpieces.

Art takes time to be made. You cannot rush art. The fact that she takes so much time to write a book is because she creates sheer perfection with skill and the knowledge life offers along the way.

i want to be as wise and beautiful minded as her when I'm older. I'm fourteen and have started reading the goldfinch, I'm about half way through it and I'm completely and utterly in love with everything about the novel. ever since i got the book my fingers have been glued to it and at the end of the day, when i have to put it down, my mind is racing with what will happen next. sometimes i can't even sleep because i want to continue with the book so badly and honestly that is exactly why i am so passionate about this novel. I'm so in love with the goldfinch and i am so excited to read her other books and the others in the future.

Donna Tartt is one of the best writers of her generation. The only shame about her is that it takes her 10 years for a novel to finish. But the good side about that of course is that then it's perfect.

I love the way she stops, bends down her head, almost closes her eyes and then utters an idea that is so profound! ♥️♥️♥️

"Nothing worthwhile is easy". She's such a beautiful wise soul. This is something I really need to remind myself more often. Thank you Donna 💕

so witty, you never know just what she's thinking. the almost androgynous way she dresses, the way she's so subtle hardly anyone knows details about her personal life. the look in her eyes. she makes a fool of death and puts the greek gods to shame. i wish to be like her.

I'm looking forward to her upcoming work "You Never Really Know What Kind Of A Jackass Is Interviewing You"

the dislikes are from the people who hate the interviewers interrupting an intellectual woman when she speaks.

He's really a great interviewer. He always responds with authentic interest and he picks up on the things we want explained and expressed as viewers/ fans. And more than anything he seems to know what he's talking about without interrupting.
