I remember when this album came out in 73, I just graduated, I was 18 yrs. old. I'm 69 now and still listen to this masterpiece on a regular basis, while I enjoy a bowl.

Breathe, breathe in the air Don't be afraid to care Leave but don't leave me Look around and choose your own ground Long you live and high you fly And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry And all you touch and all you see Is all your life will ever be Run, rabbit run Dig that hole, forget the sun And when at last the work is done Don't sit down it's time to dig another one For long you live and high you fly But only if you ride the tide And balanced on the biggest wave You race towards an early grave

Ah, good memories! I remember driving into Boston one day in May and going to this record store called In Your Ear records. I went inside, asked for Pink Floyd. He led me to the Pink Floyd records and I saw this one. I remembered how much I loved this album, but didn't have it on LP. It was $26 and I decided to buy it. It was a 1973 copy and had barely any scratches (although it was dusty). Went home, played it and it blew my mind. I loved it even more and the sound was just so warm and nice. Sounds really good on an original LP copy. Best $26 dollars I have ever spent, and I will always remember that time,

I’m 24 and I used too wake up too Pink Floyd blasting every Sunday while my mom cleaned the house...I’ve seen roger waters and David Gilmore in concert multiple times.....I have never had a band emotionally effect my life and outlook on life more than Pink Floyd....I LOVE IT!!!!! I might not know all the facts but I do know that I am a number one fan! I can’t get enough

The album that changed the world turns 50 today. Dark Side of The Moon is my favorite album by any group of all time and Breathe is my favorite song ever. Dark Side of The Moon is one of the most powerful and emotionally charged albums ever created. Each song told a story and the lyrics painted a picture. 2017 was the year I explored this album starting with Breathe and Time. This album became the anthem to my highschool years and I am so happy to have listened. Pink Floyd may not have wanted to change the world when making this masterpiece, but I think they had a mission to defy it. And they accomplished both. Happy 50th Anniversary, Dark Side of The Moon.🏳️‍🌈⃤

Fell in love with Pink Floyd when I was a teen, many moons ago. Dark Side of the Moon has always been my favorite. Breathe is so calming and just mellows ya out.

This is probably one of the best opening songs to an album of all time. It sets you up for the masterpiece that comes next and next..

The pulse of this song, and indeed the whole album, matches the rhythm of the universe perfectly. If you take some psilocybin mushrooms and listen to it you can see the universe breathing. Quite possibly the greatest album of all time.
