This is the third session of open air preaching that we had for the night. This one gathered a huge crowd. Perhaps 70-100 people (with various coming and going)? Besides the distracting music in the background, we seemed to reach a lot of people, and after it ended, we broke up into various small discussion groups. Eric, Robert, Sarah, and I left early (well... it was past 11:00 pm), and the groups that were talking were still going strong! One person that I talked to even expressed interest in coming to church! He seemed blown away when I explained to him that Jesus dying for his people's sins was like the judge leaving the bench to go to the electric chair for the criminal (substitutionary atonement). There was also another girl there (with a cute little dog, I might add!) that believed that everyone goes to heaven, and that she doesn't need saving because she is a very good person. So please pray for all that heard the gospel, and that we spoke with!
