I know this isn't a specific theme, but I was particularly aware of how you use space and balance. Your themes feel clean because you aren't pushing to fill every last empty space with something, instead your composition allows for just enough space between are and Journaling sections that just brings it all together. I noticed this with the weeklies where you have 6-8 Journaling sections, and art that fills 1-2 of those spaces; each space is the same size, and they are often brought together by a warm neutral tone that just sings harmony. Very much looking forward to the next ones!

For me the most gorgeous month is september with all the kind of mushrooms, but there are a lot more that I really love. Making these sets for every month doesn’t mean that you feel like filling your journal every day. I love making a start, but continuing it throughout the month is difficult for me too.

Gorgeous spreads! May was definitely my favorite. The birch trees in particular felt haunting. I could feel the anxiousness and maybe lack of joy in the process even though they turned out beautifully.
I also really appreciate your candor. I also tend to not to use my bujo all the time and I assumed it was because I didn't like my designs, but maybe the spread itself doesn't work for me. I just have to keep tweaking!

I would love a video about how you structure your journal, how you found your style and hoe you use your journal or some spreads. Sometimes I get so used to my own way of using a journal that I totally forget that other people have other habits and uses for theirs. So that would be really interesting for me!

it was so good in a way to hear, that setting up a month and then not using it is okay, and im not the ony one who sometimes does that. I tried to use my journal ay a planner this fall, but it just caused me so much extra work and stress that i didnt even used it for weeks. So for december i went back to the old-style, just a couple of spreads, no to-do list way i used to do it, and its going a lot better again.
Btw i loved all of your themes, so i couldnt choose a fave one <3

I can totally relate to not always liking a creative work that I complete. Different people have different preferences, and sometimes a work might be technically good, but it just doesn’t resonate with you like it does with others.
I loved all of your themes, but I love the colors of the December theme the best :)

Your artwork is so beautiful. I do understand when you have emotional attachment to your work and how it brings back memories. You might find that years from now when you take these books off the shelf and flip through them again, you may feel differently about it. Journaling is hard to do. I have found that it makes me face my emotion that I would really prefer to keep inside me. When you share your art it opens you up to pain. Thank you for sharing your beautiful art and inspiring us to just keep going and growing ❤

I can draw quite well, but I don’t do it a lot because I don’t particularly enjoy it. When I do, it’s often meditative, as in something’s happening mentally or physically (good or bad) that I’m putting on paper. Rather it’s through a drawing or written word, my art takes me back to those original thoughts and feelings surrounding its creation.

Truthfully I am unsure what my favorite theme is from the 2 journals...i think because I am just trying to understand what a bullet journal IS and what you PUT into it. So that is definitely distracting me from the themes. But what I DO see is it is very "design heavy" as everything is carefully placed + planned out - very professional looking. And you can do all sort of stuff. In some ways it seems like a diary too as you can write stuff for each day. I do like how the new journal you started for 2023 has the little dots on it. It would make straight lines + lettering way easier! Because I know without that I start writing on a downward slant! 😂
Maybe I will try one of these. 😊
