This shit is seriously going to be rediscovered one day. Perfectly progressive.

"I like to say hello and welcome you good day that is my name." Sounds like me meeting a new person.

Man I wish I listened to Tally Hall back in 2005 instead of not being born yet

FUN FACT: Joe and Zubin got mugged while filming this. Joe would later use that event as the inspiration for the song Rotary Park.

This feels like an intro song to a sitcom which after hearing in the show hunderds of times you decide to look up a full/extended version of.

Everybody forgets that the most annoying/time consuming thing wouldn't be all the filming they'd have to do. It'd be all the planning and editing to get all of the different players perfectly in sync while simultaneously getting all of the lipsyncing perfect. That must've been hell.

"Give it a few tries, nothing goes right in its time" Tallyhall being unknown in their time and people miss them now:

Tally Hall was both ahead and behind their time. This gives me Beatles Vibes with some Weezer and Queen mixed in there, and that’s a huge complement. Tally Hall, come back... please

2:22 I came so close to cry at this point of the videoclip, the television on the grave is like their past and when I realized it, became very much easier to understand the whole videoclip. Now after all that good memories, they will bring a "Good Day", with a beautiful friendship. Tally Hall is one of the best bands that I know and SHOULD come back!

I’m celebrating the new decade by playing “Fate of the Stars”, the last song Tally Hall ever made, on New Year’s Eve at around midnight. I’ll plan it so the end of the song is at exactly 12am, then immediately switch over to “Good Day”. Fate of the Stars will be the last song of the decade, Good Day will be the first song of a new one. edit: guys its been 3 years you can stop nitpicking the technicalities of whether or not fate of the stars is actually their last song now

It just hit me The first "Looking through glass eyes" segment shows footage of "Bobby" a young Rob, living his life, while the second "Looking through glass eyes" segment shows the same Rob, now as an adult, once again living his life, but of course showing contrast between his childhood and his present. How did I not realize this earlier? Idk, but I did.

This is hands down one of my all time favorite music videos. A perfect encapsulation of the 2000s. Super nostalgic.
