Billie Eilish released Bury a friend in 2019 as a single and it was also on her debut studio album "When we all fall asleep, where do we go?".
I wanted to try to record something out of my comfort zone, something with more vocal-channels than instruments.
3 weeks after I released this cover one of my old favourite bands from the 80s, Duran Duran, also released a cover of Bury a friend.

I only recently learned of this song from the Duran Duran cover and now I'm hearing it everywhere. It's a great song wasted on a mediocre artist. I think Billie is pretty awful. This version is excellent though.
