Excellent summary and probably one of the most asked questions on this topic where folks have said it’s just a drop in - and you’ve covered them all - thank you as great to point people too!- all the very best, David 👍

An excellent video, viewers should save the link as it sums up what the motorhome and vanlifers have been dealing with for the last few years. I was an early adopter when my Relion 100A battery cost me £700 versus RoadPro £1250. Now we are looking at £250 for Eco** I missed saying crap but you get the picture. We spoke briefly at the NEC , nothing you have said is misleading. My battery has done 1 cycle of it’s 3-4000. The Victron solar controller was replaced and upgraded under warranty.

Great info at the right time for me as i this spring am going to replace the house lead battery with one or two LFP at 100Ah each. Most of what you said is just confirmation of my ideas, but good to hear that I'm not far off.

Very informative video...thank you! Hopefully motorhomes will start being equipped with chargers that can be set to any particular voltage. And come up with some solution to the alternator issue. Lead acid had a great run, but they are left iin the dust in every way by lifepo4. I full time in a 16 ft cargo trailer to RV conversion with 1300 watts of panels on the roof and 750 watts in three ground panels. I also have 900 amp hours of lifepo4 batteries. I spend my winters doing astrophotography in the US deserts, and have a full sized 120 volt home fridge with ice maker and a 32 inch computer monitor. A microwave, coffee maker, toaster and deep fryer makes life pretty comfortable out in the middle of nowhere.
