I actually like the fact that the laser etching ended up backwards. It fits the whole theme so much better. Somehow.

The side panel being etched backwards actually adds to the "AliExpress" aesthetic.

wouldve been fun to see you replace the parts that failed one by one til you got an actual working build. Personally really curious about the SSD and the GPU lol.

I really love the idea of building a fully transparent system unit to show such beauty and value. I can only do is admire it

I had one of these wacky clear cases once. It was probably a lot different than this because this was back in like 2010 or so. It was my first ever gaming pc, my friend and his dad were super into it and they were nice enough to give me some extra use able parts they had and help me find all the right parts and build my pc. They had this clear acrylic case, it was huge and super heavy but we had blue led set up in there and it actually looked pretty sick for back then. It was also a total tank, no wobble at all. It was actually a very good case. I have no clue where the thing came from, there was no branding or anything like that on it. One day I wanna find a good quality clear case again and build an homage to that first rig

That power supply won't work in Canada because Canada uses 120 V mains. The sticker at 9:27 says it needs at least 170 V.

I built a PC from AliExpress 4 years ago. It was a Xeon X5670 with a Chinese mobo, ddr3 ram and a GTX 960 (legit). Probably less than 350$ the entire set-up. Still working great šŸ‘

It's real tough to find any DRAM chips that aren't made by Micron, SK Hynix or Samsung. The DRAM market is an oligopoly, and those three companies cumulatively control over 95% of the global supply of silicon.

This looks like the 8 year old PC standing in the store window of an old store in your small town selling weird cell phone plans and pc repair

Love the case, its this or no window at all, but case like this will need a very specific parts, single theme, including all cables.

To be fair, the mouse pad without RGB I own and it holds up very well in quality. No threads undone yet after 14 months. Also I washed it in the sink with dish washing soap after I soaked it with beer and even got stains removed and still it is in great condition. So the mouse pad without RGB I highly recommend. UPDATE: Someone just recently liked my comment so it reminded me to make an update about the mouse pad. It's not a major problem, but the stitching around the mouse pad is starting and ending right at the middle on the right side, which is exactly where my mouse hand ends up sometimes. It's kind of annoying and I'm afraid that it some day will get undone. The upper outer edge would have been a lot better place to start and end it. Just something for others wanting to buy one, to think about.
