I will order the future Outback if it have these: 2.4T mild hybrid power train + electronic suspension system + super quiet cabin.

I think this looks better than the current design, which looks kind of soccer Mom style.

I’ve owned the 2011 Forester Premium, 2017 Forester Touring and planning to order the new 2025 Forester Touring. Love Eye Sight, truly extends wear of brakes, tires, and engine. Look forward to another naturally non turbo, non hybrid experience.

I like it. I'm waiting for these to come out for sale and going to pick one up. I don't want a camera monitoring me while driving though.

IMHO those plastic parts on fenders above the wheels make vehicles look cheaper and... kind of rugged children's toy cars. I also believe the black plastic will be facing decoloration on cars not parked in the garages in sunny states. Not everyone will be using Outback and Forester as "every weekend trial warriors" and that is why I'd like to see some trims looking more stylish and elegant.

When are Subaru going to bring back the best model of the Forester - the Forester Turbo XT model?

I like the 2025 Forester and I think the Forester is the best compact auto on the road today... except... they need to offer more powertrains... their standard powertrain is too anemic for my likes... they could again offer the turbo as an option like they have in the past and then discontinued... and they could offer a hybrid with more horsepower and torque... if they did these things it would then be the perfect compact auto.

Thanks for the review so we can have an earlier understanding on the new "Re-design". But it's kind of disappoint that Eyesight X, digital cockpit/dashboard, HUD and some other features are still not available to Subaru, which it is already available on the other brands / level for a while.

instead of making useless air vents on the fenders, maybe subaru should have used that money to put in a complete wheel well liner instead of half assing it as usual

Get those RIDICULOUS 19’ wheels off that car! I have 2019 Forester touring with 18” wheels that has a broken wheel mount. This needs more rubber on the road for all practical purposes and for less bling.

If you need a full-size outlet, stay home. Subaru messed up installing that large head unit in the Forrester because the one in the Outback is slow. Subaru should be embarrassed. Still no turbo engine so the Forrester is the Outback's immature sibling. How did we drive before all of these safety features? I'm not a fan of Subaru's "stop/start" feature that I disable with each start of my Outback since it won't default to the last setting (i.e. off). I'm not a fan of the power liftgate. I'm much faster than the mechanism that operates it. The good points: ground clearance & all-wheel drive & great visibility.

I always liked the Forester because of the low belt line, but other shortcomings are a problem. The iSight system is prone to failure and expensive re-calibration. and the new exterior colors are bland, also in the mid-west dealers only stock the ugly black interiors and dark exterior colors... no thanks..

Looks good.... I DON"T like all the " ASSIST" crap.... I want to drive my own car. If someone is so STUPID as to drive when they're falling asleep or worse-drinking or otherwise not in full control of they capabilites- they need to be PUT OFF THE ROAD and lose their license PERIOD. I hate robotic interference.. I wish all makers would GET AWAY from the bigger wheels with 1/2 of rubber on them too--- that's just STUPID on any vehicle. It makes the ride rougher- the steering heavier, and much easier to get a flat - or if you clip a curb- ruin your tire AND wheel.

I HATE CVTs.... but- have to get over it-- all companies are going to that TRASH.. (and that's what they are... like it or NOT. -- but then- the boxer is a WEAK design too- but somehow the damn things run forever unless abused or something else goes wrong. Most of my dislikes for subaru are "feelings"-- based on nothing-- for instance they FEEL cheaply made to me- and hearing the boxer wind up to get on a freeway- sounds like it's going to fly apart!! (but I know tehy DON"T-- I use to SELL subaru- and I KNOW them to last and be GREAT vehicles)-- I just have a hard time getting past some of these things mentally.
