I see why people wish that her lyrics would go "more deep" into more stuff "than Love" but she also maybe was over labels telling her "what to do" and being through a 5 year break through lyme disease getting life and partnerships back on track Head Above Water not cutting it like they wished, I guess.....if you see Love Sux as a more guitar heavier Version of TBDT you might like it more than before.
