Not bad picks š
here is my list.
1. The entire Honda 500cc platform. Not necessarily in power or style, but they need to be lightened. Take some weight off of the frame and engine components.
2. The R3. Needs a little more displacment
3. The GSXR 250, waaaay out of date
4. Z900, is still a great platform but needs some technological updates to be more competitive
5. The kawasaki H2 line. They are very good bikes, but Ide like to see a refresh and a little weight savings if possible

Iād love to see significant updates if not entire redesigns of the FJR and the Concours 14 but alas itās not on the cards, both those bike would be worthy imho but R&D costs along with low sales volumes because of the market place changes will see both these bikes axed at some point. Not to mention similar if not outright replacements exist in each manufacturerās lineups ei: the Tracer 9 GT+ and the H2 SX/SE

2018 DR-Z400S owner here. Bought used, of course. The current bike is overpriced for what you get. Just for comparison purposes, I visited my local Suki dealer and was quoted $8200 OTD (FYI, KLX300 locally quoted $7900 OTD). I paid $4500 for mine in April with less than 2K miles, pristine with new D606s. At the very least, they should have restyled the plastics and maybe the tank-seat-tail. Fuel injection would be nice for that price point. Give it a reason to charge what they do for it.

I think the FJ1300 is just fine as it is. New TFT maybe? Updated plastics?
Kawasaki doesnt sell the the Concourse anymore, and Honda dropped the ST a few years back. I think its only competitor is the BMW RT1250 (maybe the K1600GT if you have the extra $10K). Now if Yamaha were to develop a 1100cc shaft drive version of their 900 motor...

The traditional Sport Touring bikes are basically being split into Adventure Touring bikes and what I call the Hyper Touring bikes like the GSX-1000GT and H2 SX SE. Itās a shame because as a current Honda ST1300 owner, if Yamaha were to significantly update the FJR and give the engine a cross plane crank, I would trade my ST1300 in for it instead of replacing it with a Goldwing and buying an MT-10
