As I'm writing this I'm having a mental breakdown. As you know by now, I've been animating The Simpsons for nearly 4 years now. And recently there was an inside joke among my coworkers about this "graggle" character that got removed around season 5. I always thought of it as a joke. But today I decided to look through some old Simpsons episodes. But something was... off. Homer and bart we're talking to a character that wasn't on screen. Then in a later scene Homer stood there for a near 4 seconds. Before laughing and saying "oh graggle, your always so ridiculous all the time". My heart skipped a beat, I rushed to my workplace and rushed through old sketches of the season 1 episodes. He was always there the whole time. I saw him everywhere. Then I found a tape on the ground simply titled "Graggle" It appeared to be a scratched episode seeming to only be a story board. But as it continued on graggle was repeatedly shot in the chest by an unknown person. It changed to a photo of a body on the ground. The body of a child. And it wasn't animated, it was a real photo of a dead child. Matt greoning had said that he had a son but never really talked about it before. But I know his dark secret. Matt greoning's son, was graggle. And he added him to the show to hint at his crimes. Consider this a suicide note, cause I don't think I'm gonna be back home after this.

I really liked Graggle as a character but when after he started skinning all the kids at Springfield Elementary and putting their bodies in the Simpsons dinner every night I can see why they got rid of him.

I liked when Graggle petitioned an idea for a new law to be passed, except he didn't tell anyone what the law was. He got enough signatures and presented it to the state senate and the senators were wondering how the hell he got all these signatures and he just goes "Ya Graggle 'em"! And at the end of the ep it's revealed the law was to make Duff Beer illegal because he hated it, much to Homer's chagrin. It was a very telling episode of how strange a day in politics can be and how you even your closest friends can harbor shocking opinions. Not many may remember this episode but it was always one I loved!
Homer: "Aw, Graggle, ol' buddy, I'm sorry they rejected your idea. Eh... what was it?"
Graggle: "Here, see for yourself- GRAGGLE!"
H: "This proposition... blah blah blah... anyone... DUFF BEER ILLEGAL? Graggle! Why would you want to make the best beverage ever illegal?"
G: "Grag- I can't stand the stuff! Tastes like peepee- Grag!"
Homer stares at the audience in shock as the screen fades to black

Who remembers when Graggle forced Homer to kick the Pig out in the movie? It was a pretty iconic character driven moment. Him and Homer are pretty big friends all this considered.

My favorite Graggle Simpson moment was when he helped Homer steal a gummy and, when they got caught by the police, he said "It's graggle time!" and then murdered all the police officers and witnesses. Oh and when Homer told him to stop, Graggle smiled and said, "You won't remember what I did. Everyone does in the end." What does he mean by that? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
