Kinda failed my exams today, but thank you for this great reminder. I didnt know I needed it, because I try to meditate, eat well, be kind with others every day etc I really try to be the best person I'd like to become, but I think that I must first accept the person I am today with my feelings, my flaws, my failures , and my good points. Thank you Amy 💙

I love what you said about self compassion and honoring your feelings. What I'm practicing this year is to be okay with negative emotions and sitting with that feeling instead of pushing it away. This means I can be angry or sad or frustrated and that's okay. Sometimes the best self care is to simply let yourself feel the emotions. This is just the human experience 💖

The last habit speaks so loudly to me. I recently created a new instagram account because I wanted to join a certain community that has the same passion as me, but it has been taking over my life ever since I started it. I catch myself checking the engagements and likes at least 3 times a day even though I have no need to. There are times I wonder why people aren't liking my posts and I get so sad about it when I put time and effort into it. But now I realize that THAT part of social media has diverged me from my main goal which is sharing my passion and connecting with people. Not gain a number of follows. Not gain a number of likes. So I have begun to have intermitent social detox sessions. Thank you for reminding me of this self care habit and more.
