Iâve been listening to this song since it came out cause itâs a bop but didnât pay too much to the lyrics. today in my sociology class we were learning about cults and death cults. Then I listened to this song and my jaw dropped when I put 2 and 2 together. I think this song is about the heavens gate cult, one where they believed aliens and ufos were apart of the afterlife, unfortunately all 39 members committed suicide to transcend to heaven or to the ufo in the sky. This might not be the meaning of the song but if you listen to the lyrics a ton of them line up. Iâm obviously probably not the first t notice this but it was a crazy moment when I did notice it lol.
