I think the first thing a subnautica mod needs to do is to make the oceans much much deeper (like over 1000 blocks) compared to what they are now. And the second would be to make the world an ocean only one before adding any of the mobs or tools and whatnot. Otherwise, without these 2 essential components, it loses its charm.
