Rumor has it that door still hasn’t been answered. The person is still standing there

I watched this live with my grandparents. It’s one of the last memories I have with my grandpa before we found out he had cancer. He absolutely loved the show and this song in particular. He talked about AJR for months afterwards. It’s bittersweet but I really enjoyed One Spectacular Night.

Still think it’s hilarious that their most well known song, the one that blew up on the radio and stuff, was made out of a knock on the door and a subway announcer

The thing I love about AJR, (apart from everything) is that they look like they’re having the time of their lives whenever they perform one of their pieces, and I adore that.

I usually get bored of overplayed songs on the internet but I don’t think I will ever be sick of this and world’s smallest violin

"we didn't really care who was at the door" pizza guy stands there outside the entire time this song is made

The build up to the song with the train announcer guy, with all the visual components in the backround before it kicks in, is giving me a feeling I can't quite describe but I love it.

I love your "making of" performances. It's engaging and immersive and it leaps into the full concert version. The visuals are so entrancing, yet captivating, I could watch one of these for all of your songs.

i honestly listen to this more than the version on spotify. the brass absolutely carries it, and makes it feel like a villain's big, extravagant and oh so terrifying rise to power

They did this at the concert I went to a few weeks ago, but it wasn't with knocking at the door, it was with keys dropping. When it was revealed what song it was (I forget now) the crowd went fucking wild, it was one of the best nights of my life. It was my first concert and definitely one to remember... Edit: just remembered, the song they did was Weak!
