Hey Kevin, this is probably my first comment on one of your videos, but I felt I could help shed some light on the speed of this kind of boat. This propulsion system is called an "Arneson Drive" It is almost half prop, half fan. It is designed to only be partially submerged while running, causing high-speed cavitation which acts almost like a jet. It looks like the boat is "chugging" while you drive it at the start. You might have the props down too far into the water. When going fast only the last inches of the boat hull are making contact with the water. Take a ruler and line it up with the prop and hold it flat against the hull. The prop should just barely be dipping into the path of the ruler. When properly trimmed this boat will make a 15-foot tall rooster tail, as it's designed that way. Cheers!

You need to make sure the drivelines are extremely smooth, no vibration or binding, balanced props, and you'll have to adjust the outdrives. Even just 1 degree of angle change will make a massive difference. Looks like it's running pretty wet out of the box for more stability. Getting 110 out of that boat is possible, but it's going to take a lot of patience.
