this was made in 1998, when everybody still thought the 80s sucked

Can’t believe I’ve never seen this until 2021. Loved the 80s and 90s. This is great!

One of the true EDM classics, so underrated. Cool cameo from Boy George too, nice

Picked this cd up cheap as well...I always remember the tag line from this track. Not heard this in years!. Reminds me a little of Howard Jones...

One of my earliest influences in music styles. I love this guy, he really digs into 80s sounds

My semester abroad in London of 2003 I went to hear him dj 2 or 3 times around town. The third time he was playing the tiny back room/bar area of The End. He took a break at the bar and I told him how much Darkdancer influenced me in the US, and how ahead of its time it was. He was super nice and seemed genuinely flattered that I knew who he was and that I came out to hear him play. Fast forward 2 years later and the guy is producing for and touring with Madonna. Crazy.

I saw this on MTV Amp back when techno was much respected. I bought this album Darkdancer and loved every track on it!

I saw this guy live at the Riverside in Newcastle around 1998. He was phenomenal, playing bass, sampler and keys on his own.
