The freckle thing makes me squint & laugh. The same kind of girls paying for faux freckles today are the ones who made fun of me for having natural freckles as a teen. It’s the same as thrift stores. All the rage now, but I was gross poor scum for actually having to shop at them years ago. Trends are funny.

I think unnatural color fake freckles can be really really cute. Like little white ones with like an otherwise starry kinda makeup vibe.
I've always had freckles growing up and tbh I'm not sure how I feel about the sun damage comment from the company. Sun does cause freckles yeah but it lowkey felt like its putting people with actual freckles down to put up people who use the fake ones.

I'm 😂 out loud. At age 68 and a red head, I finally stopped a few years ago trying to cover up all my freckles! It the old thing where if you have straight hair you want curly and curly hair wants staight!

On the faux freckles: the trend reminds me of graphic liner. I'm not the kind of person who can walk around wearing it casually, but when I see it on others while I'm about and about, I love it. I think seeing shiny freckles on others in public might feel the same. Just because they're not for me doesn't mean they won't help the right person shine ☺️

As a person with freckles that don't read as freckles, not all freckles are cute and those of us with uncute freckles generally want to cover them up, because they are in weird patches that make areas of discoloration on parts of the face. They're not necessarily sprinkled cutely across our nose and cheeks. Sometimes, they're along the hairline or near an ear. If you have cute freckles, flaunt them, but I think making freckles where none exist is weird. Personally, I have had some removed with IPL, and that wasn't super fun, but it was effective.

My niece wore gold fake tattoo face freckles as my flower girl in my wedding in 2015. (Her idea). They were adorable.

The Welsh twins tried those type of freckle patches in their joint channel once. May well have been a different brand but the result was really… icky? It gave a weird translucent circle around each freckle that made it look like holes in the skin 😅

I have natural freckles, and I don't understand people wanting fake ones. I finally was able to pick up the CP x Twilight palette.

Definitely agree that the freckle transfers are unrealistic but the sparkly ones would be great for a festival or a party in the summer!
