My favorite songs from this movie are "I Don't Dance" because it gave Chad and Ryan a chance to show off, and "Bet On It" because it's just incredible. Troy nailed it.

The thing with not making Gabriella's ACADEMIC intelligence appear as much in this one I always took it as it's because this is not really centered at a school this time, so her EMOTIONAL intelligence takes the upfront instead, that's why she seems unbothered most of the time and only goes to do something when she realizes how Troy's demeanor is really affecting her and her friends.
