Happy New Year Stich!! Thanks for all the help. I’m 74 and played rhythm for ever, but always wanted to get the hang of improvisation. I knew the Major and Minor pentatonics but it just didn’t work out for me. I watched one of your videos a couple of weeks ago, going over it two or three times and it eventually clicked, I’ve turned a massive corner, thanks to you. 👏👏👏

I’ve learned a lot from your guitar videos and I really appreciate it. As many others would probably say, I wish YouTube and people like you were around back when I started playing guitar at age 13. But I am more disciplined now at age 50 so maybe I’m learning more now than I ever would’ve at 13. I’ve been a music and guitar lover my whole life but I’ve never appreciated it more than I do today. After a long day and it’s finally just me and my guitar, the rest of the world goes away and I’m in a truly happy peaceful place. It’s like therapy or something and it’s very addicting. I just want to be in that happy peaceful place all the time.
Anyway, sorry to go on and on I just wanted to share what music and guitar in particular does for me. Thanks for sharing and doing what you do. It’s very gracious of you to share your knowledge.

Few weeks ago I hit a plateau and was ready to just put all the guitars in the closet and find a new hobby... but I spent some time focused on learning more scales and riffs and I broke through and am on a freaking tear! I'm looking forward to 2023 being the most rockin' year of my life bros!
