3:18 : If you notice, as the song transitions to a bit about Kanye's "beautiful death", his "so excited" turns into "suicide". Once you've heard it you can't unhear it.

The transition to “so excited” to “suicide” is so genius that I’m very surprised that Kanye managed to do that. And when King Crimson busted in the song out of nowhere, I was really happy. Overall, really good song!

The line "Jumping out the Window" hits different when you know what he was going through and if he proceeded to do it we would've never got this beautiful masterpiece of an album. Thank you Kanye for inspiring me to keep on living and many others even when times seem to never light up.

Anyone else get chills when they hear “you got the power to let power go?” Makes you realise this whole song is Kanye looking in the mirror at himself.

"My childlike creativity, purity, and honesty is honestly being crowded by these grown thoughts. Reality is catching up with me taking my inner child, I'm fighting for custody." How have I not caught these bars all this time? Good thing I decided to major in Barology.

If you look at the situation ye was in prior and during the making of this album, mentally and physically, this song and this album is the best comeback I've seen in hip hop, just goes to show he can prove people wrong.

I'm pretty sure in the future colleges will analyse and teach about Kanye's samples and discography as a whole. Let's appreciate his genius while he is still around us.

As someone who suffers from bipolar myself I can't help thinking that this song is a perfect representation of mania/hypomania. Now, I don't want to downplay the societal issues brought up in this song or other interpretations of it. Rather point out another layer of this masterpiece. As far as I know Ye wasn't aware of his diagnosis when he created Power, yet the accuracy with which he describes his state of mind is astonishing. Reckless driving, hypersexuality, feeling invincible, grandiose delusions, constant buss in your head, feeling overwhelmed, being talkative and argumentative... The signs are there. If anything it's a testament to Ye's honesty and incredible ability to capture his emotions in a musical format. That's a true talent!
