February 4, 1983. I cried that day, the day Karen died. The voice of an angel. I saw her in concert at the Riviera in Las Vegas in the late 70's. I was the only person standing at the end, she noticed, looked right at me, and mouthed 'Thank you.' I thought I had died and gone to heaven. When I do die, I'll know I'm in heaven when I hear her voice once again.

She was so skilled and committed to her craft that she sounds exactly as good live as she did on her recordings.
