Not everyone is meant to go to the WWE. Will has made a great living and legacy for himself across the world; if he believes that is the best life for him, then that's fantastic. Besides...Never say never in wrestling. We might see him there one day, even if it is a one-off appearance.

WWE isn't for everyone, Honestly its best for some people to never go. What works for him works for him & same for everyone that doesn't go or hasn't gone that could possibly go

He's seen what WWE has done with Ricochet's career so far; easy decision.

Not only did he get to wrestle in front of 80k but he got to do it in front of his home county

I can respect Will’s decision to stay with NJPW. A lot of the American wrestling promotions are becoming “wash, rinse, and repeat” . Stay with what makes you happy.

Honestly the wrestling world is in a place right now where you can not only create a great legacy but also make a good living without ever going to wwe. For this reason alone whether you like the product or not but if you’re a wrestling fan you should genuinely want other companies like AEW or NJPW to succeed because it’s simply better for the wrestlers. Will so far has done that, he’s crafted a great career and legacy without being in wwe I’m sure he also makes a decent buck out of it and the most important thing is that he’s happy with what he’s doing.

Totally get it. The schedule of WWE has always sounded like a nightmare to me like you literally only get any time off work if you are injured haha

Props to him. As a WWF/E lifelong fan, and a PRO WRESTLING fan, why not live that life how he does it? I get it! Props to him!

Will might be the best in the business. I’m actually grateful to AEW for exposing me to him (and others from New Japan) and introducing me to their body of work.

Will Osprey is an inspiration. I want to be a better man because of the energy and genuine charisma he gives off.

If Kenny Omega (though was in WWE development at one point) made the example of “making a name for yourself without WWE”, Will Ospreay can add more to that same example

That answer Will gave was spot on. I mean we all know that he's a big of a star that he doesn't need WWE but his answer left the door somewhat open because he said that he don't want to go to WWE because he will be away from home because of their schedule, not because WWE's product is shit. Dude is a smart, and very professional bruv, one of the reason why I like this guy, not just in-ring, but outside of the ring as well.

This is a great example that you don't need to be in WWE to show you have made it in the wrestling scene, its all about what your comfortable and happy with like New Japan and such

Man Chris is such a good interviewer. It feels so much like a natural back and forth with his interviews. One of the main journalists I truly look up to today

So humble. The dude has achieved so much just being himself. He's something special, and I think anyone who doesn't see that is missing a beat.
