I fully discovered metronomy about two years ago(i was about 16), after having heard burnt thumb a year prior, and having it sit in my watch later playlist for a few months, i decided to give it a relisten. Started going through the other songs, favorite band ever since. Just about every friend ive introduced to metronomy has gotten very absorbed in it, so much for Josephs worries of declining younger audience :)
Edit: realized the word "worry" is overtuned, "thoughts" is probably more fitting.

Love this. Ten years ago I was in my final year of uni. I remember buying English Riviera soon after it came out, and listening to it over and over that year. I’ve been listening to it a lot again in these strange last 18 months, and it really is perfect. A classic, all time great album. Ahead of its time, so it still somehow sounds really new. Also makes me feel so nostalgic.
