I hope you enjoyed this video with my mom. To anyone out there that is going through the loss of a loved one, my heart goes out to you. P.S. I have struggled to find a suitable title and thumbnail for this video for many reasons. If you have seen this video floating around and are confused by this, I hope you understand.

Why am I crying? Watching three generations of women connected by the love for each other and music is so beautiful to see, that my tear ducts are filled to overflowing.

'Pink love' is warm and fun. What an amazing idea. She should express herself musically as much as she desires. My deepest condolences go out to you and your family.

This video made me cry...my dad has dementia and sometimes music is the only thing that makes him laugh or engage. It's a wonderful thing you've done here Nahre. Maybe I should try making some music with my dad...

When your mother said "this is the first time I wrote music", I cried. It's so beautiful to me, the idea of commemorating a loss with something as meaningful as a first time. And for a mother to experience a first time is another layer of poetry. This is a beautiful gift you gave her. A precious, loveable present. You must be a very kind and caring person :) Sorry for your loss.

Nahre Sol, you are one of those special teachers. I am a retired opera singer and a voice teacher. But this reminded me of some classes I took with a very special art teacher. I was in my late 40s, and hadn't touched a crayon or paintbrush since I was belittled by an art teacher when I was 12. We all have within us, an artist, a singer, a dancer, and a composer. Thank you for helping us all to remember that expression, is our humanity.

In one simple creative effort, through her song, Nahre's mom managed to tie 3 generations of her family together. Thank You, Nahre for sharing your family's love and remembrance of your Grandma. Your thoughtfulness in helping your mom during this sad and hard time is truly amazing. p.s. I thought the accompaniment behind mom's great melody was pretty good too, whoever wrote that might just have a chance at being a real musician. :-)

Nahre, this video is so special. I recently lost a parent and due to covid quarantine rules we had had to say goodbye over video, it was strange but intimate at the same time, because we can see and hear everyone very personal farewell very clearly. Composing a melody as a farewell reminds me of that, the process must have been very healing. Thank you so much for sharing. Its a sweet song.

It seems we both lost our grandmothers around the same time, how strange. I'm glad I found my way here, and I'm sorry for your loss
