The kraken is at least 60 meters and 60-80 tonnes. It would have a pretty significant size advantage as medieval ships were pretty big and toppling them was quite hard. The weight depended what cephalopod it was. Octopus

Iâve read (in a book, i know ancient) quite a few years back that in the 1800s a octopus corpse determined to be that of a young adult was discovered on the coast of some southamerican country (cant recall which one) measuring 24m something total. A single eyeball measuring roughly 1m in circumference.
No idea if it was true or not but yea. Book from the 50s. Titled wonders of the world or something along those lines.
But yeah. Makes the kraken look somewhat realistic. (Not the mythical beast but what ifâs 30 something meters approach)
