I had the pleasure of seeing him when I was 11 years old on Broadway with my cousin the same age. It was one of the best shows I have ever seen. He was hysterical and to this day, I am 71, I will never forget it.

He’s not simply a pianist, or a musician or even a celebrity. He’s an entertainer in the purest form of the word

I had the privilege of meeting him during the 90s, in the US. I was working at the theatre he was headlining. Funny beyond belief, he had them crying, mostly young university students, and they cheered him for three encores. Then we, the crew, had pizza and he sat and told us jokes for another hour. What a man.

I love how the crowd started laughing before he even spoke. They already knew how freaking funny he was. RIP Victor Borge

Then the chorus comes in and nobody knows why except Mozart and he’s dead. Comic genius.

A talent like this comes around hardly ever. Pure genius. Timeless.

This is talent unparalleled today. No dirty language, not too fast, not boringly slow. Every joke light, fluffy like a thought that had just occured, but spot on. Courios eyes like those of a child, but with a twinkle that says "Funny, eh? Got'cha there!". We don't even have to mention his musical talent. He didn't even WANT to be funny. He just found out that he was and he went out there to let us enjoy this with him.

Such gifted comic and brilliant pianist. No vulgarity, no offensive language, no attacking anyone. Superb mimicry of piano styles and operatic performance without being insulting. Well never see the likes of him in our every coarsening world.

«It is stated that Mozart was happy married”. “But mrs. Mozart wasn’t”.
Priceless 😂🤣

This is classic comedy gold. The comedians today will never live up to these standards. Some are talented, but none will ever live up to these.

There was no one like Victor then, and there's been no one since.
An amazing musician with brilliant comic timing.
He's sadly missed.

I was lucky enough to see him perform in Caerphilly in the 70's, he came on the stage at 9.00pm and left at 4.30am, they served us breakfast. He simply said he was enjoying himself, I've never laughed so much for so long in my life. He remains the King of comedy for me, RIP Victor.

A few years ago, thanks to the YouTube algorithm, I discovered this man and ended up watching him for hours. I was excited to ask my parents if they had heard of him and my mom got the biggest smile and told me that her grandpa took her to see him when she was a little girl. They were both happy to be reminded of him and we watched a few acts that night. Victor is my go-to when I feel sad or having a bad day.
