We went there to celebrate St George's day. IT WAS NOT A PROTEST. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. The police were absolutely terrible. I was standing right by the incident that the police instigated and had to run clear, so that I wasn't knocked down by them and the people trying to get away. I felt extremely alarmed and threatened by their behaviour and attitude towards us. The public were happy and peaceful. 🇬🇧🏴
