I used the VHS tapes from king schools in the early 2000-2001 to pass my written 98% I would fall asleep night after night listening to these tapes.
Aced my oral the examiner said I was one of the best prepared students he had questioned in a while.
I did screw up on where two class E airspace met with different floors or ceilings I donβt remember which. I was trying to remember I completely forgot about the legend on the chart. The examiner simply pointed to the legend and asked if I was ready to go fly. Two hours later I had my temporary ticket.
