Iād really like to see a Fallout take place in Canada. It got annexed in the lore so itās technically a part of the US and in a few games there have been some pretty decent lore references. I think itād be neat to explore a post-nuclear Canada and how they dealt with the annexation and post-war. Also I wonder what a mutated moose will look like.

For me, Fallout Lone Star could be amazing. Texas is extremely geographically diverse. Weāve got forests, swamps, deserts, and grasslands. Small towns, big cities, and scattered communities. I would absolutely love to see my home state represented in Fallout. Especially if it had a similar theme to New Vegas, with the whole Western Style.

Juicehead,
The character of Nick Valentine is a direct reference to Sam Spade, played by Humphrey Bogart, in the film-noir movie āThe Maltese Falconā, which is set in San Francisco, not Chicago. By reporting that Valentine was transplanted to Boston from Chicago, and not San Francisco, itās pretty clear that Pagliarulo is hiding the latter for a later Fallout installment.

I want to see a fallout game set right after the bombs drop. We donāt really see or hear much of the direct aftermath of the war, just bits and pieces in holotapes. It would be cool to see factions quickly rise and fall, the initial chaos, beginnings of familiar factions (Enclave beginnings, responders starting to help, Followers of the Apocalypse forming, etc)

One of the settings with perhaps some of the most amazing potential of anywhere is the Pacific Northwest. Washington State alone does have mountains, forests, volcanos (that may have been triggered by the bombs that fell), coastal environments, rivers, and broad flood basalt plains that probably supported agriculture in Fallout just like they do now. There's military bases, Naval bases including a submarine base, air bases, and the Hanford nuclear reservation, where they made the plutonium for the real world bomb dropped on Nagasaki. Hanford could be a major plot line, who knows what kind of nuclear production was occurring there, what happened to it, was it a heavily fortified fortress with missile defense that survived, was it devastated and now all manner of crazy mutants populate the area. There's probably remnants of Chinese forces trapped for 200 years in North America, each building their own culture and society of small cities, city-states, or just small communities. You can work in Native American reservations and tribes that have survived, and maybe a tribe of ghouls. You could weave in some lore about Bigfoot, to give it some fringe sci-fi stuff, the potential for Fallout: Seattle/Fallout Northwest is enormous.

for New York a bit of information that a lot of people gloss over: the state is huge and a vast majority of it is farm land, forest, and industry. New York City only covers about 300 square miles of the states 54,556 square miles... so if my math is correct less than 2% of the state is NYC. other than that the majority of the spots that would probably be targeted by nukes would most likely be military installations simmilar to how the pyramid in the glowing sea was the target in Fallout 4

I still want to see "Fallout: Anchorage." Would be a much more winter-themed game with potential creatures like Grizzly and Polar Yao Guai and snow-themed Deathclaws (and who knows how many other varieties of arctic-themed creatures), a Chinese remnant faction much more fleshed out than the one in Fallout 3, and an American military faction that developed along different lines than the BoS and the Enclave. Due to Anchorage's remoteness from other major centers of population, it could really give us a much different look at life in a different part of the world...and yeah, I want to see the Northern Lights like we can see them in Skyrim.

A newyork fallout would be so cool with the map almost entirely city and there could be cool dlcs to New Jersey and stuff. They could make the Empire State Building full of mutants and the Statue of Liberty could be sunk in and made a planet of the apes reference. I think the sewer system would be really interesting maybe there could be a serwer city full of ghouls and Super mutants living in harmony.

Honestly Iād love to see a spin off involving wasteland New Orleans. It could be a flooded out swampy city with lots of new creatures and factions, as well as a rich culture to build on. It would be interesting to see how the wasteland embodies the New Orleans vibe like how New Vegas embodied the Las Vegas vibe and culture.
