Great work on the bedroom, especially for a "lazy"weekend!
I was thinking that forward headboard will really intrude on the companionway, causing bruising and the potential for salty language to be flung about!
Perhaps you could think about putting your head on the opposite end (you'd be able to wake up to the view out the bow, and the aft bulkhead is a built-in headboard). When you build your bed, you could build in the adjustment to raise that end higher, but do remember the water tank will lower the bow when full, and you could use ballast to adjust her trim also - you really don't want your boat so far off trim that you could feel it in bed! (Of course that would make sweeping up easier, everything would roll aft!)
Looking forward to your next video, you are definitely my favourite narrowboat channel, love the way you work!

Looking good ๐. I have a similar layout, I put my pressure pump, accumulator, calorifier and shower gulper under the bed along the wall. I made the bed a lift bed with gas rams to access the storage and plumbing under the bed. I also access the cassette toilet and store the spare cassette under there. Access is everything on a boat.

Coming along great. The window symmetry is awesome. Maybe think about headboards at each end of the bed so you can switch sides depending on how full the water tank and diesel are. I did see a youtuber fabricate a wedge to fit under a flat collar which worked great. I think it was a boat that James built but dont quote me.
