Christmas as a kid in the eighties was the best! Anne Diamond on breakfast tv, getting singles and blank tapes for Christmas, Wham, Duran Duran, Spandau ballet, all the greats on top of the pops with the audience with terrible hair and cringe dance moves waving tinsel around is something this generation will never know, waited all day for the radio to play your favourite song and then tape it, only when I had kids did I know what a worry it was for parents. 😅
