* I did use some passive image pulses, but all of them are insignificant and have no impact on the difficulty of the fights. The ones I used are: EXP boost and in some final fights - Kudos boost and set Kudos songs.
So, this is not quite that I expected from the 3rd Gunvolt game. I do like the new character and her gameplay, but it's so weird that they decided to do a huge time skip and omit pretty much all of the previous characters. It was okay for the iX series, since it was a spin-off in an alternative universe. But why do that for the main series? Was the secret scene in GV2 with Xiao and Copen's maid completely pointless? What even happend to Copen, Mytyl/Joule and the others? Guess they died of old age offscreen.
Well, maybe they'll make ASG 2.5 to tell us what happened in between these games. Or maybe Gunvolt and Moebius in the ending of this video are doing a time travel to the past or to some yet another alternative timeline. I don't how I would feel about that. I don't want these series to turn into another Kingdom Hearts...
But don't let these complaints make you think, that I don't like this game. I had a lot of fun. I also have nothing against the plot about the Primal Dragons, ATEMS and Moebius. I just don't like how little connection it has to the previous games.
BTW, there are also hard mode versions of these bosses, and some of them are viciously brutal. Some of them require you to do some serious acrobatic movements in the air. I kinda want to record it, but also kinda don't. It might depend on how well this video does.

I just realized that Gunvolt's English VA is Sean Chiplock, who also voiced Ky Kiske from Guilty Gear Strive, which also have lightning powers.

In response to the description, my opinion can be expressed as follows: Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 is a fantastic game... that has been given the wrong title.
While the gameplay is extremely well-done and the story includes a lot of good ideas (such as having defeated bosses survive to join the supporting cast), it's so far removed from the previous games on both fronts that it really should have been treated as another spinoff.
I suppose we'll have to see what the DLC brings to the table (Inti have stated that there are plans for both free and paid post-release content for the game).

The boss theme for the primal dragon's are will dragon's and four horsemen bb is death and based of European dragons. Shrion is conqeust and based on serpent dragons. Apollo is faminin and based on gargoyles, and caymon is war and based on multi headed dragon. The atem knights the four elementals sistine is sylth. Griza is the gnome. Prodo the salamander, and serpentine is undine. The bosses also have a major arcana them

See while the story of GV3 isnt bad by any means its still good, i do agree that its so far removed from the previous game it feels more like “a story in the world of Gunvolt” than a proper sequel to Gv2, most we get is the secret ending which in of itself feels more like a troll even if i did find it kinda funny. Overall tho, while it doesnt make me hate the game it is a little disappointing its not the continuation we were expecting
But GV is dog now so 10/10, he is good boy

I know people hate on the characters talking but I kinda like it. It adds an extra layer onto the game that is already happening. I don't know, I just love it for some reason.
