Man JK is clueless. He says that Brad Shields has no future in the ABs as he's played for England. I mean I don't rate Shields but what JK said is factually wrong. Shields last played for England in the 6 Nations in 2019 which means it's been 5 years, so he's actually now available for the ABs.

What's Kirsty on about?
Du Plessis and Braydon have been tearing it up for years.

Seeing the story of young Colby brought back memories of the 8 year old me in '93 watching Waikato NPC at rugby park in Hamilton on the concrete terraces. That year Waikato traveled to Eden Park and beat Auckland for the Ranfurly Shield, the shield done its rounds around rural towns and clubs.
Unfortunately, Auckland/JK won the comp that year, they beat Otago/Goldy in the final. Records tell me JK was top try scorer with 8, and Foxy was top points scorer with 135. This game is awesome the memories it can create for all ages.

So what Goldie is saying is that the Crusaders can somehow beat teams that are in form come knockouts, while they're on their worst losing streak ever, hmmm that says alot about this competition.

yes Jonah was huge, but for Goldie to say he was unstoppable...hmmm. Gregan used to bring him down. He never scored a try v the Springboks either, so obviously they stopped him. Christian Cullen to me was the biggest game changer for NZ rugby. He changed the way an outside back played and we've never seen another player like him. I do agree re: Kronfeld. Very underrated player and believe he was the 2nd best 7 NZ has ever had.

Clark Laidlaw has done a great job,I wonder how much if any 7s training goes on in and around Hurricanes training.. because they all look pretty sharp๐Ÿค”

Disappointing to not see a provincial representative thoughts on the state of rugby in NZ after last weeks episode. Cause it sounds like we are getting one side of the story between NZR and the provinces.

Shaun Stevenson needs to be in the All Blacks. This guy has been playing well for last three seasons for Chiefs.
I would still pick Reuben Love in the All Blacks.Stevenson can be pick as a wing/ fullback.
Jordan and Love could be the fullbacks.
Wingers : Telea,Clarke,Stevenson,Nanai-Seturo.
These guys are form players.I still like Reece and Narawa.
The good thing about NZ rugby is we have team call : The All Blacks XV.
This team is very important for development of our players.

This show has three outside backs doing all the analysis-get some forwards on there.

Whitelock coming back for a year or two is great but he wont make the next wc.
Retallick will be 35/36 at the next wc so he could realistically make it if he decides he wants to.
Lord was outstanding in his return and Vaai has had a great start to the season too.
Selby-ricket, Hannah, Mcwhannell and ah Koi are worth investing time in aswell.

Mckenzie and BB have played so much at 10/15 tgt it doesnt really matter who wears 10 as they can seamlessly mix up the responsibilities between.

To me the first winger GAME CHANGER was Inga! Before him wingers were Terry Wright shape and weight. I was at the trial in Hamilton when we scored 2 tries and didnโ€™t make the ABs - no one could believe it. We watched history unfold.

One thing I noticed in the Chiefs, men & women's game, more tackling around the legs, good to see.

Players are getting fitter and stronger to older ages. I was the fittest I have ever been at 39 and now I have the potential to be as fit as then at 54

Christian Cullen, the best running full back in history imho. Josh Kronfeld is my favorite flanker I think, although having met Mr Jones and modeled my own tackling/ethics after him (I was a prop mind you), it might be equal.
