It goes without saying the number of people inside, the size, and the construction of your tent all will play a role in the temperature difference but this is the difference I found in my "4 person" Coleman Sundome tent.

I like my Sundome 4-person for the money.Not even a 4-season tent so I’m impressed at your readings. What a daughter to join you! Couple things might not matter but I always put a ground cloth down and a tarp over top just to mitigate wind and also limit leak potential.

Very cool . Backyard Camper in 305 when it gets Cold ( 40°degrees) Hot Cocoa, Drambui & a barking Sonnyboy @ the resident Possoms .Prelude & checking equipment before the trek to camp Big Cypress Swamp which is somewhat dry during Winter , staying out of prairies or sleughs.
