I picked up Days Gone randomly one day, I was like "why not". The biggest surprise I ever had. It has a deep, sweeping story that had me committed the whole time. It nailed that "getting by in the apocalypse" vibe that's so hard to pin down. Everyone is trying to revive the past either to fight the present threats or find meaning. The dialogue works too, really well. The man who wrote it actually wrote the Syphon Filter series too so no wonder. There's this pervasive sense of forlorn hope in everything and it's such a sweet tone. The game design is also relevant and very approachable, taking down your first horde - can't beat that feeling.

Days gone is of the only few open world games which I competed and felt like I was craving for more, this is one of if not the best game that I have ever played period, this deserved so much love and appreciation, the story the pacing the intrigue everything just perfect, what a perfect console game, just relax and play, man I am just so happy that this exists

Days Gone surprised me in the best way possible. I had never heard from that game, but I regularly scour steam for zombie games hoping to find one - preferably an RPG game. I suddenly found this through that search and was pleasantly surprised. This is exactly the kind of game I've always wanted. An openworld zombie game with some survival elements. Loved it. It could have been even better with more random openworld events and more survival elements, but I still had an absolute blast with it.

I played Unity the first time back in 2020 right when COVID hit and it was such a visual stunning game. It really felt like virtual holiday at that time. Played origins and odyssey right after it and they were just so massive and padded out. Unity was truly the epitome of the assassins creed series in terms of movement and flow

Spec Ops: The Line was the first game I bought at launch price, and I wasn't disappointed. Beautiful, amazing, heartbreaking game. I absolutely adore Nolan North. Uncharted is one of my all-time favourite series. So when he's involved in a game, I pay attention. Spec Ops is also one of the first games where I played through and completed the super hard difficulty levels and challenges. It felt so good.
I've watched Days Gone through and loved it. Right up my alley. Can't wait till I can get a copy to play for myself.

Days Gone is still to this day one of my all time favorite single player games EVER! The story was incredible and totally took me by surprise, and Ive never played a game before where I started out hating the main character as much as I did and than doing a complete 180 on my feelings for them as the story progressed. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend

Iβll never forget cresting a hill in Days Gone just to roll up on a massive horde that immediately started sprinting at me. One of the scariest moments in my time gaming and also the funniest. π
