Good advice. I love color, but with clothes, it's a lot easier to mix and match neutrals. So I've bought some colorful bags, shoes and scarves for a pop of color (using only one bright color at a time). Almost any bright color goes with neutrals!

Iāve had to switch out my wardrobe when I transitioned to my natural silver hair. I cantā wear khaki, beige or pastels anymore because I look washed out with my warm skin tone. Now I have to incorporate rich jewel tones like red, and fushia and bring some color to my upper body. Iām trying desperately to cull my closet and just have the pieces I love.

My real issue is that I need two very different wardrobes: one for work (white, black, light blue and burgundy) and then there's my regular clothes. I get tired of wearing black every day due to work so for my regular wardrobe I like khaki, white, light pink, butter yellow, olive and green. I do wear black or red in my every day life but I hate it because I end up wearing it due to work. On top of all that I need two different wardrobe due to the two seasons here in LA blazing heat and autumn/winter.š

Cream, pale grey, cream with small patterns (brown, cranberry,) jeans (of course!) pale blue, all kinds of brown (chocolate, sand, khaki, etc.) I too love color but I can not wear it! These are the clothes that stay on the hanger. Fabrics: linen, cotton, wool (cashmere), denim. I like to vary shapes more than colors, and I love to change accessories. A scarf is such a good idea (I would have thought of it before, but it is very French!) And I love your emphasis on comfort. If it isnāt comfortable in the store, it will never be comfortable at home!
