I believe it was the Minister of Information who mentioned a few days prior that the Jamaican populace does not express significant concerns regarding the situation involving the former Secretary of the Parliament. He articulated, “The crime rate has decreased by 14%, yet this achievement goes unrecognized.” Nonetheless, it must be noted that the decrease in crime exists merely on paper and does not resonate with the common folk. If even the guardians of law enforcement are not secure, then who can claim security? Law enforcement alone cannot effectively combat crime; this responsibility lies with the government. Presently, Jamaica is merely responding to criminal activities without a concrete plan for crime prevention. Criminal elements find it alarmingly effortless to roam freely with their firearms without apprehension of interception by law enforcement.

They do not want to sign the code of conduct, because they think they are above the law,they think they are above anyone,ie' the Jamaican people holding them accountable! The opposition needs to establish an arm of the party to mobilize and hit the streets in massive demonstration. .. bringing the entire country attention to what is going on.
