Don’t forget the constant discomfort of the bleeding, having to change your pad, having to change your tampons, or cups, the embarrassment of leaks, not being able to wear certain clothes, migraine headaches, insomnia, bloating, body pain, low grade fevers, being cold, being hot, blood surges, anemia, dizziness, anxiety, rise in depression, and more

I dislike the myth that people with uteruses have a naturally higher pain tolerance. The more we say that the more it excuses how often medical professionals and society at large disbelieves and disregards our pain. Afab people experience pain the same as everyone else... we're just conditioned to ignore it, hide it, push through it and never make too much of a fuss.

Dr. Lincoln looked so legitimately concerned and confused at 2:02 after Zach said, "so it is blood."

This video doesn't even simulate all the build up to it. The crying without knowing why or unexplainable anger leading up to your period. Not to mention the absolute exhaustion with just wanting to sleep the pain away. AND BLOOD CLOTS. A WATERFALL EVERY TIME YOU SNEEZE.
edit: I also just realized that my birth control has me scheduled to have my period the week of finals so ain't that lovely.

I love when they were like"who do you see when you have this?" The woman said "you guys - remember when we went to Universal?"
Also hilarious when she has it up to 8 without even flinching while they're dying and said "I'm on my actual period, too."
Make all high school guys wear this thing for a day.

I soooo appreciate that you all did this for a whole workday, and not just a few minutes. You all rock! I have a rather high tolerance for pain, I had endometriosis, and it would slay me for at least 2-3 days each month until I had surgery. I had to work, raise my young kids, do housework, run errands, grocery shop, and all other usual chores and responsibilities. There was no empathy or sympathy for what I was going through, except from my OBGYN and a few friends who also had endometriosis. I hope this will enable you all to be wonderfully supportive partners for your ladies.

I’d puke, sweat, cry, shake, get the period poops from my cramps yet none of my male managers ever believed me. I then got a better job and my woman manager noticed I’ll call in the same 2 days every month and told me to see a doctor for birth control and it helped me so much ❤ will love boss Camille forever lol

Watching men suffer through period cramps while on your period is a form of therapy
