I wanted to do lucid dreaming, and when I found out sleep paralysis can occur, I dropped lucid dreaming. I'm really scared now on trying to lucid dream :/

Sleep paralysis isn't as bad as it sounds. In my experience, it's more weird than scary (ringing noises, feeling cold, etc.). Also, don't expect it to be super scary! If you expect it to be scary, it'll only be worse. Just know that it's not real, stop reading creepy pasta, and until you've actually tried it out, don't tell others about how scary it is. (EDIT: by "sleep paralysis" I mean when you wake up during it)

I am trying to lucid dream properly like even if i get sleep paralysis. I just cover my eyes with my T-shirt around it so it gets just dark then you will not see those awful things.

Earlier tonight I was trying to use the sleep paralysis method to have a lucid dream. I was lying incredibly still, trying to convince my body that I was asleep so that I’d be paralyzed. After about 5 minutes, I started hearing this high pitched humming then jolted awake, expecting to see a horrifying shadow monster in the corner of my room. I didn’t even become paralyzed but I never want to experience that ever again

This video is the reason i started to try to lucid dream. I always thought every technique triggers sleep paralysis.

Hi, i had my second lucid dream recently, and i found that i can control my dreams very well by saying dream commands. Like the first time, it happened when i stopped thinking about lucid dreaming, i didn't fall aspleep to music as i usually do and i was very tired. I gained lucidity both times by looking down and noticing that something was off with the area of the room or there were some strange fornitures under me, did anyone else have the same experience?

I tried a lucid dreaming method (for the first time) and after five minutes I was shaking so I moved out of it and now I'm in bed with an adrenaline rush and I'm scared to go to sleep :(
