*Season 2 spoilers*
In hindsight this feels like a summary of season 2. Dave causes all this turmoil in an effort to get across the street (get over writer's block) to get to the taco truck (release of his first album). He has to synchronize with his anteater (which removes his fears and insecurities) in order to accomplish this goal. And once he gets there, Gata opens his eyes to a whole different avenue of better options (music). Season 3 will be about the 2 of them crossing the street together.
