"Let me cleanse my palate... with beer" is a very Canadian thing to say 😂

Canadian weighing in here: this is probably the most well balanced Canadian snack hauls I’ve seen. It is a bit Ontario centric, but I’m from Ontario so I’m not mad about it!

As a Canadian ...I have tried every one of these snacks. I was waiting to see the look on your faces when you tried the Thrills gum...lol...I think it is awful...this was a very good selection of Canadian treats....thanks for sharing Satoshi and Shinichi.

Sakura-Maple isn't the type of syrup, it's the name of the company which has its roots in Japanese-Canadian-American products. It basically is like a label for products that are shared among the three regions.

I've been living in Japan for just over a year. I miss Ruffles All-Dressed with the intensity of ten thousand suns.

A few years ago when I was craving French fries and ketchup but didn’t have any or any money, I decided to dip potato chips into ketchup and realized if it’s salty enough it tastes the same. Ever since then my life has been shit and I can’t take myself seriously.

KETCHUP CHIPS YEEEEEES! No one does ketchup chips in Canadian snack taste tests, so excited!!! Edit: you guys should also try and make Nanaimo Bars, that is a Canadian snack too, and it's really good!

My mum's side is from Canada and I grew up in NY so we made the trip up every other year or so. The only food I sought out was Smarties (which is a Nestle product, I believe, so also available in UK etc) which are M&M's tastier cousin.

Maple cookies are da bomb-diggity, as the kids aren't saying. Plus, their smell sticks around on your hands for a LONG time.
