It makes me nervous that you decided to take a highly pigmented liquid like Benefit Benetints. It would be a big potential problem if it leaks and your makeup bag doesn't contain the liquid and ruins your clothing. Hope you secured them in an extra ziplock bag within your makeup bag. Sounds like a great trip though!

I wear makeup everyday everywhere. Iceland is the only country I didn’t bother. U leave in the morning when it’s dark till midday and u come back home and it’s dark. Ur wearing a beanie, scarf, maybe a mask…no one can see ur face. Plus the trip is a bit about endurance. If I was to go again, I would take a concealer, and brow makeup. The rest never sees the light of day!

I love that about face foundation. I agree it has a nice balance. I wore it over this past weekend went a few hours away to go to a cabin and to hike. I forgot I was wearing it. Lasted all day.

Is this for carryon? I now know the products that explode under pressure on the plane in cabin and the hold so I use mostly travel sized and less liquids so it all fits in my carryon!

I’d take the opportunity to get some skincare from Iceland, especially if you’re planning on visiting the Blue Lagoon. They have their own line of skincare, supposedly made with ingredients and minerals from the water :)
