Here is a quick and easy demonstration video on how to replace your weak or dead battery in you Ford Taurus remote key fob. The process is quick and painless. You're going to need a small screwdriver and a new 2032 coin cell battery. First step is to remove the mechanical key by pressing the button at the bottom of the fob and then pulling the physical key straight out. Then, take your small screwdriver and pry off the back cover. The weak 2032 battery will half way spring out. Remove that and place your new battery in as I've shown. Close up the back hatch and you're all set! No need to reprogram. Hope you found this video helpful!
